I have finally found a hair stylist who can deal with my thick curly hair! Francesco himself cut and colored my hair and I can't get enough of the compliments I'm getting. He knows what he is doing when it comes to dip dye/ ombre and the deal available through wahanda is so good for value for money- I got a haircut, ombre and a treatment for £!00! I had a bit of a cold when I went and they even took such good care of me- with lots of delicious cups of peppermint tea and honey. I have already booked my second appointment.
The place was very nicely kitted out however for such a large saloon I was the only customer the whole time and it was a bit awkward at times. However, the staff were lovely and the coffee was delicious. I am pleased with the hair cut I received and after the treatment on my hair my locks look lovely and glossy. However I found the stylist rather heavy handed and half time he was working on me it hurt quite a lot and wasn't very pleasant.
I have been to more or less all the salons around shoreditch and i must say Francesco Picardi is definately in my list of Top 3 Hairdressers. I went there with a few of my friends as a birthday present and the experience was fantastic. Not only did i get an in depth hair consultant, i then discovered all the natural Davines products he was telling me about, he sold so that was a bonus. I got the brazilian blowdry done and my hair has never felt so light, shiney and fresh before. I loved it!! The prices at first seem a bit steep however the feeling you get at the end is worth more then the price believe it or not. I was stunned and so were my friends. He made me proud and i would definately recommend anyone with hair problems or just someone in need of a hair treatment to Francesco - he is BRILLIANT!!
I have been to Francesco Picardi's twice now, and I can honestly say I now wouldn't go to another salon. The salon itself is in a convenient location and is really nice inside. The staff are all really friendly and make a real effort to make you feel welcome and at home, I have found it daunting walking in to salon's before. I felt really pampered and looked after on both occasions and felt like a VIP sipping complimentary champagne. On my 1st visit I had a cut, colour and blow dry from Chris, he is great, he really took time to talk to me and listen to what I wanted and gave me advice on the colour. I was really pleased with the end result. I've had experiences in the past where hairdressers just did what they wanted with my hair and didn't listen to what I wanted - that certainly wasn't the case. On my 2nd visit I had a tint, treatment and blow dry from Francesco himself. He is absolutely lovely and once again gave me the VIP treatment , he did an amazing job on my hair. The blow dry looked great and he put a tint on my hair that has made it the most vibrant red - something that I have been trying to achieve for over a year and nowhere else had managed to get it right until now. I absolutely love the colour and have had so many comments on it. I honestly can't recommend this place enough - I can't wait for my next visit!
