the hairdresser dried my hair curly. i have straight hair and he didn't ask/tell me. he only spent about ten minutes cutting it and then a good hour drying it, so when i washed it myself, i wasn't too surprised to discover that the haircut itself was pretty rubbish: wonky layers, no real shape, bits left too long etc. it's a real shame because the salon was lovely; it was the most comfortable hair wash i've ever had and the curly blow dry was actually pretty cool - but the haircut was crap and i couldn't even tell that until afterwards because of the blowdry. what can i say. weak.
I have been going to Francesco for almost 2 years now after roaming around to find someone who can do the right thing without being told. He will always ask you but in my case I prefer that he decides and I have never been disappointed! HE IS A TRUE ARTIST! I have my roots done and highlights as well as cut and blowdry and I always leave feeling like a million bucks or even pounds. I have quite frizzy hair in humid temperatures so the BRAZILIAN BLOWDRY was the solution and also affordable. He knows his stuff!
I used my cut/ treatment/ blowdry mobdeal voucher and was seen by Nathan. He was great company and put alot of time into cutting and blowdrying my hair. I have very long, fine straight hair and tend to just 'wash n' go'.Nathan showed me how to blowdry my hair with brushes to achieve waves etc if I wanted to do it differently for a special occasion. A week later,I called the salon back.Whilst pleased with the cut overall, once left to its own devices one side didn't hang right at the front.I was able to go back and see Nathan again, this time in their new salon just around the corner. He made a few 'tweaks' and gave me another lesson in styling it! I was very pleased with my treatment and would certainly recommend booking an appointment with Nathan.
This was one of those places where they treat customers with discount vouchers as a second-rate non-important individuals and do not make any effort to win you over to become a regular. Not a very good attitude. I was left to sit and wait until they decided which 'stylist' will take me, while several stylists walked around aimlessly doing nothing as I was the only client in the salon at the time. The treatment was mediocre, overall an ok experience for the money I had paid, i hope they don't treat the full paying clients this way.
It was difficult to get an appointment, I had to wait a month. Once I got there, found that the venue was changed, luckily the new place was nearby. The receptionist was polite and apologized for the mistake and offered me a drink. The keratin treatment was good with a nice scalp massage. The hairstylist was experienced and gave a more than decent haircut. All in all a pleasant experience. If I can get the same deal again, I will go for it but not if I have to pay full price.
