This place is really difficult to find with very little signage outside and then you have to walk down a long interior corridor to access the salon at the back of the building. However, once there the salon is nice and light, the staff are very friendly and I had a great haircut.
My first appointment was cancelled on the day because the stylist didn't turn up! I had to go elsewhere as it was for a xmas party. At least they agreed to extend my voucher if I needed to.
I made the second appointment over the phone which took over 10 minutes of them flaffing about. They even offered to call back at one point because I was left holding on for so long.
I was not offered a drink during the whole time I was there!! This is a first for me as a hairdressing client! And there were staff available to offer, they weren't even busy.
I asked for a trim and for my hair to be 'shaped up'. Hardly any questions were asked and the stylist took off the very minimum amount of hair. I will probably need it done again in no time! He didn't shape it AT ALL, didn't even touch the layers, just gave the ends a quick snip.
I felt I was treated as if I was a £23 customer, not a £77 customer which is what the experience was supposed to be worth. There is NO WAY I would have paid £77 for that, and I would be really surprised if they would charge that amount for the service they gave! To be honest I wouldn't even pay £23 for something my own mum could do.
Basically it was a waste of time and money and I was very dissappointed.
I italian and i though an italian hairdresser would make me feel at home. and he did. really nice atmosfere and very friendly staff..i really enjoyed. my stylist was Austrian though called Andreas and the best hairdersser i even met.
Higly reccomanded! and good value for money.
The salon was a little bit hard to find, it's actually just a door that leads off the main road and it's not spectacularly well signposted. The salon itself is nice, big open space. The staff were ok, but I wasn't convinced that they really knew what was going on. The haircut itself was good and although they tried to sell be another treatment it wasn't a hard sell. Not sure that I would go back at full price, but on the mobdeal it was good.
I had a lot of problems trying to book an appointment as the link from the website to the booking page did not seem to work. I phoned on several occasions and was told to use the web booking or call back. I eventually managed to book an appointment. The salon was relatively easy to find, but there were no clients initially, therefore the atmosphere was nil. I had a cut and blowdry and a conditioner was used whilst it was being washed. I was not really impressed with the finished result, it really did not suit my face. I would not return.
