This treatment was bought for me by my mum (Thanks mum!!) and all I can say is that it was truly a great experience. From beginning to end I had a great time. The hairdresser listened to what I wanted done and I ended up with a fantastic cut and amazing highlights - thanks guys!! Will def return and recommend to friends and family.
I agree with the previous reviewer, finding the place was difficult as there was no sign outside or anything else to identify the place. However during the treatment it was mentioned that they will be moving shortly to a new location that should be easier. Despite that, the rest of the treatment was excellent. The staff were friendly and knowledgable and it was good value.
The overall experience was good. The place was a little hard to find, walked by it without realizing it, A sign or billboard next to the door would be nice. Once your inside it does look like a professional hairdressing salon. Nathan was my stylist and I really like the cut he did. Would recommend the place.
Very good value for money. The stylist Nathan was very friendly and I did feel like my hair was much softer and manageable after the Keratin treatment. The cut wasn't anything special but then again I just asked him to cut as little as possible off so there wasn't much he could have done. Overall, it's a great deal if you're looking for some pampering.
I bought a Groupon voucher for a Brazilian keratin treatment. Never again. It was hard to get an appointment. I rang up and was told that I had to book online. I tried to do this, and heard nothing for almost a week. I emailed again several times, and eventually someone rang me back.
Having finally managed to get an appointment, its not a very welcoming place - there's a slightly odd atmosphere. You feel a bit as though you are inconveniencing them by turning up for your appointment. There was a rubbish selection of magazines and I just felt really awkward waiting to be seen by someone.
Eventually I had my hair washed by someone who was really rough and clumsy. The keratin treatment was slapped onto my hair really quickly - I've had this done before at another salon and it had taken ages to apply to my hair. This was just slapped on in a few minutes.
When I finally washed my hair with the special shampoo four days later, it was clear it had made no difference at all. My hair was just as frizzy as before.
This was a complete waste of time and money.
