My actual haircut with Reka was great - she listened to what I’d asked for and made suggestions to take some extra weight out without losing any shape. Unfortunately the salon itself was far from a luxury experience. My appointment was moved to half an hour earlier without any explanation, and I only received notice of this 15 minutes before my appointment. When I arrived at my scheduled time, the front desk staff were bordering on rude without any apologies, and at the end of the haircut I was just left in my gown with the staff sat around chatting rather than helping in any way. I’d go back for Reka but not the salon sadly.
Josephine was very friendly and the Hollywood hot wax was as pain free as you can hope for. They also use better quality wax than other places I’ve been. The salon is looking a bit rundown but apparently they’re having a refurb very soon so that should fix it. Slightly expensive for a 30 minute treatment but convenient location so I’m sure I’ll be back.
Excellent haircut. Booked morning of the appointment, team were lovely and welcoming. Reka listened to what I wanted and executed really well. Would highly recommend this salon. Just a note it is hard to find if you don't know where you are going. Go downstairs towards the fitness first and it is in the same lower ground area.
I had a Hollywood was by Josephine and it was one of the best I have had for awhile. She was incredibly kind and professional and got the job done quickly and as pain-free as possible. I would highly recommend her for this service.
