Really good haircut but a bit overpriced

I love The Salon and will return but unfortunately I didn't have a good experience with my wax. The beautician was lovey; very experienced and did a super efficient, neat job but it was incredibly painful and still hurts 3 days later. I've had about 10 waxes in recent years and I have never experienced this. It could have been because strip wax was used instead of hot wax, but also large areas were taken off at one time which may have caused some trauma. Either, every single one of my pores bled and they're still all bruised now, so it all looks pretty unsightly and bumpy even 3 days later which is a shame because I am heading off on holiday. Again, I have never had this happen before and during some hot wax treatments in the past, have felt next to no pain at all. I would return but may ask specifically for hot wax next time.
