I thought the customer service was excellent and was all completed very quickly. I will happily return again. It was a little tricky to find as it is joined with a hair salon but the lady happily directed me to where I needed to be.
I got an Express Pedicure and I really liked it. The staff were great, very welcoming and accommodating as I had a friend that wanted to sit with me while I got it done. Would recommend it.
I have looked around for a good place for nails in Covent Garden for a while, seeing as I work there everyday. When I saw that a deluxe manicure at the Beautique Room was for £21 instead £30 for 45 minutes, I thought it would be worth a try.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the beauty side is based at the hairdressers Giannasso Hair, which was very nice inside. However, the Beautique Room was based downstairs, in this little basement area which was ok, but no one was down there. The manicure was done off a little table to the side, tucked away. There was no atmosphere.
The girl was very good, she never rushed ad it did feel relaxing, but she kept on spraying anti-bacterial spray or gel on my hands every-time she finished a section, my hands were becoming dry, not moisturised and softened, I felt this was annoying and unnecessary after using it when I first sat down. I received a 5 minute hand massage with some hand cream, my hands were not exfoliated or soaked in warm water. My cuticles were very well done, as well as the painting of my nails. I would never have paid £30, because I felt it was a basic, quick manicure, no way was it deluxe.
I feel like they are charging these prices, but where is the manicure room? The products weren't up to date, or the utensils used. Again, this is a hairdressers wanting to move in to beauty, want customers to pay quite a bit of money, but they don't want to develop the beauty area.
It's a shame, because it has such potential!
At £22, it's not bad and worth going if your stuck on time and need a manicure in your lunch break, but it's not a luxury service. It needs developing.
