There were a few things that I wasn't too happy with during this experience. The lady who did my nails didn't speak English (or VERY limited) so that was tricky, the atmosphere wasn't great - it wasn't a particularly luxurious setting (dark, downstairs). Most importantly, my nails aren't great - quite bumpy and not particularly carefully done I'm afraid to say - not sure they will last 2 weeks. The manicure pre Shellac was thorough though.
A bit disappointed to be lead down the stairs to a fairly bleak basement as the upstairs looked lovely. Other than venue it was a good treatment and the beautician was very nice
The therapist was a lovely lady who was very welcoming and friendly throughout. However I have only given 3 stars as the wax itself was not the best I have had. I am not the most frequent waxee, but whenever I have had a hot wax Hollywood, it has been less painful. I am not sure if the quality or temperature of the wax has anything to do with it, but it was not coming off as smoothly as I have experienced in the past. Usually the hot wax alone is enough (with one or 2 hairs left to tweezer) but to achieve perfection she had to tweezer quite a bit (which I have to rate her for taking the time out to do). Although I was happy with the overall result, unfortunately I am not likely to return as I have experienced less pain at better prices elsewhere.
