The main issue was the therapists social skills. A real shame as it is a lovely, clean and welcoming salon, which is very pretty. She did a great massage, although I was surprised that she didn’t ask me about any back issues I have (numerous!). Instead I had to tell her during the massage, which was annoying.
Facial was mediocre, and the therapist had bad breath. She made me feel ugly: “You have red skin and spots” and during my massage “You have a hump in your neck, no it’s not fixable, it’s to do with bone growth”. What a load of crap, in a young person like me it’s postural and reversible! So that was grim.
I went for this massage to get away from the stress of being a medic, so I was really annoyed when the therapist requested “advice”. This was during my facial where I was meant to be relaxing quietly. Instead she regaled me with tales of her suicidal friend, and asked me what to say to her....totally inappropriate and put me in a difficult position, as I couldn’t say no. She also ignored me when I told her a face-scrub was too rough.
If I’d had as better therapist, I would have rated it 3.5-4 stars, but she really let it down. I hope the salon can learn from my experience. I wouldn’t return...especially now I have written this scathing review!!
