I attended the Gina Conway academy on a Monday and had my hair cut by a learning hair dresser her name is Chelsea and she cut my hair really well. Some people maybe afraid to have their hair cut by someone who is not qualified yet but if you have the time to give (as it takes a bit longer as you will be breified when you book) as your paying with your time for a very cheap but well done hair cut. The learning hair dresser is being supervised by a stylist who works at the salon. I found all the hair dressers attentive, and listened to what I wanted. I have had many people comment on my hair cut!If in doubt Go for it! It was so worth a £5 hair cut!
I phoned after my treatment and left a message to which I have had no reply!
The highlights look like they have been done 2 inches away from the root, I cannot wear my hair up as it makes it very obvious. I explained that I always have a aveda colour 10, however a 9 was used, and they said this would blend much better. This is definitely not the case.
Kinda scared at first, specially because my English's not perfect so it was hard to be understood. But I got a patient and super friendly young woman to cut my hair, who's tried to listen me as much as she could and, the result was amazing. Its exactly what I wanted. If you are lucky to be with Ellie, you can trust her 100% really professional and really nice.
