They have an appalling lack of concern for the privacy and wellbeing of their clients. During a treatment, the (female) employee repeatedly brought in other (female) employees, keeping the door partway open while I was in a state of undress. This happened not once. Not twice. But three times. I kept having to remind them to close it. They kept forgetting. Or leaving the treatment room while I was still undressed, thereby opening the door yet again. They also brought in other employees (all female) to teach them the equipment. It was incredibly intrusive. It felt like being treated by any random passersby in the middle of covent garden. I felt like a piece of meat. Not a human being with feelings. Let me caution those who care about things like privacy to stay far far away. In addition. For my first appointment I was kept waiting for 15 minutes. It turns out they were giving me an unrequested meeting with an herbalist to try to sell me hundreds of pounds worth of herbs. The Chinese doctor herself was incredibly insightful and gentle. But as English is not their first language it is very hard to communicate and explain that I had other things to do that day and when I make an appointment, I expect it to begin at the requested time. And when I am undressed I expect privacy.
