I was lead into a back room of the salon that was messy, and had used paper on the table from a previous client laid out for me to use. The entire appointment seemed rushed, I realised when I was finished that the lady doing my lashes was also doing another clients’ lashes outside in the front salon at the same time.
It was my first experience of getting my lashes done and I felt extremely on edge, not knowing exactly what was being done to me during the hour that I had to have my eyes closed. There were multiple people coming in and out of the room I was in, having various conversations while my eyes were practically glued shut. It was as if I was put in the staff room for my treatment and I may as well have been invisible lying on that bed as there was no consideration whatsoever.
Unfortunately, I can’t give the name of the lady who carried out my treatment because she never introduced herself to me, Nor did she ask my name. It was all very rushed and frankly she didn’t seem to care too much for my comfort within the salon.
Moreover, I’m not happy with my lashes. They’re uneven and the black dye from the tint is still lingering under and around my eyes, stained. A messy job to say the least. I wasn’t given much chance to decide whether I was happy with the outcome as I was shoved a mirror and then told I was done before the lady quickly left the room to return to her other client, who had come in after me.
This treatment was £31.50 and though it was extremely cheap in comparison to others, I don’t even think THAT “Low” price is even justified. (May I also add that the entire “kit” she had used on my eyes was left out on the side when I was finished and it looked as though it had been purchased from Poundland.)
No, I won’t be going back.
Meri was so lovely and friendly and did a fantastic job! Never thought I’d go for a bright red colour on my nails, but I’m loving it. Thanks to Meri for boosting my confidence:)
