I like this salon for the convenience & price but I have some concerns re. privacy & hygiene practices. The door was left ajar during my Hollywood wax, the towel I lay on was grubby, the therapist did not wear gloves. I’m not 100% sure she used a new stick to dip the wax each time and there was no hand washing facility, just alcohol gel. There was pressure to use the ‘walk-in’ service rather than book online next time.
My hollywood wax outcome was fine but did not include what I was expecting...the beautician charges £3 extra for the backside to be done - I thought a Hollywood wax was ‘everything’ front AND back! She also did not wear gloves. I felt like she did a thorough job and I am pleased with the end result. I have had better service elsewhere but the value for money is good on the Hollywood, full leg and under-arm waxing package deal, so I would consider going back.
Cold welcome from the therapist. I was asked to sit in the chair, but a gentleman who did not have an appointment asked to have his eyebrows done was given priority over me. Re manicure. The positioning of the plastic screen did not allow sufficient room for me to place my hands in the tray to remove old polish. I was then asked to sit by the window, where everyone could see me, also now I have no support to my back and arms, which became very uncomfortable. The polish applied is if poor finish
