First Massage for many years and I wasn't really sure what to expect. The young lass that did the massage (sorry can't remember her name but she's also a dancer and training to be a physio) Took me downstairs to a small room with a massage bed. She started off by massaging my legs and explained that the "soft massage" highlighted where the knots were located and enabled her to treat them. Boy did she treat them, she really gave it some welly and I could feel the tension ease. It hurt, but just enough and I walked out feeling significantly better than when I walked in. Well done :)
It was my first visit to this salon and I was very impressed. Despite a problem with the heating I had a warm welcome from Pin, the senior stylist who really listened when I told her how I'd like my hair cutting and gave me a superb cut. She is a lovely lady, kind and sincere and brilliant with the scissors. I'll be back!
I went to the salon for a balayage and it was terrible. The day before I had to go in for a patch test which went fine. I didn’t have any reaction to it. So the next day I went for my hair colour appointment. After the balayage appointment I had developed an itchy, painful rash all over my face and neck. I emailed them, and they were asking for images so I sent them. They replied with questions like what have I used on my hair and body, making it out as if it was my fault for the allergic reaction. I said that I’ve been using the same hair and body products for years now and that I want a refund. They haven’t even replied. I’m so disappointed, the balayage wasn’t even blended properly and there was a random bleached streak in my hair. They’re just trying to shift blame onto me. It isn’t just a coincidence that I have shoulder length hair and that the areas effected are my face and neck, areas which are in constant contact with my hair. All I want is a refund.
