This is my first ever negative review. When I walked in everything seemed great, I was offered refreshments, shown a range of nail colours and seated with my nail technician really quickly. Problems soon started with my gel removal. The acetone that was being applied to my nails was not coming out of the bottle, hence dry tissue was being put onto my nails. When it came for my nails to have the colour scrapped off it obviously didn't work. I pointed out that it wasn't working and there was no acetone on the tissue, the woman said something I didn't understand. After 20 more minutes she began peeling off the old polish with her finger nails. A-I could have done that at home, B-her nails were pretty dirty, C-why would I pay someone to damage my nails further? She then trimmed my nails far too short and when I asked for them to be rounded into an oval shape she instead filed one edge of each finger producing a really weird jagged angle on at most fingers. The skin around the nails were pushed and prodded around, the next day this surrounding skin is really sore and red, one is really hot to touch so is making me think there is an infection. Finally when it came to my 'glam manicure' all I received was colour, no hot wax, no cream or cuticle cream. Also I was only given one coat of colour. As I left the woman on the desk asked me how I felt-I pointed out how my nails were jagged and uneven (she agreed) she offered to book me in for another appointment but since waking up and seeing the state of my nails I have decided to avoid returning.
