I booked in for a wash, cut and blow dry, but was very disappointed. I asked for a trim, but ended up without about 3 inches taken off the length and layers that I did not ask for. I could not see what was going on as the chairs were very low so didn’t get to look at the finshed style until it was too late. Barbara did not ask me any questions, and at one point started hacking away with a pair of thinning scissors which was very alarming. Asked if I liked it at the end and I said i was unsure, she did not seemed fussed and I was directed to reception to pay. Lady on reception was very nice and understanding, gave me 20% off. When I got home, I straightened my hair to find the cut was sloping to the right! Had to go back and have it straightened out. Again, lady at reception was very apologetic but stylist (Barbara) did not say anything. I was given 30% off my next visit but doubt I will be going back.
Great service. Nails look great and even had great nail art added. The staff are lovely and very accommodating
This is the first time visiting this salon. The staff were so lovely and friendly but I was there for over 2 hours and had a horrible experience getting my acrylic nail extensions. Firstly, the cuticle care was appalling. It was so roughly down that my fingers were red just from the initial pushing back of the cuticles. To make matters worse, I was shocked when my technician pulled out SCISSORS to cut my cuticles! My cuticles were not overgrown or anything drastic enough to need scissors. I bled from two different fingers once the technician was done with the scissors. It was so incredibly painful. I bled again when she was filing, she brought the nail drills and nail buffing block right over the skin and burnt though it, drawing blood. The acrylic application was sloppy and uneven, leaving bumps and ridges. Nail polish was applied within a minute of the previous coat, so of course it did not dry correctly and left air bubbles and bumps in the finished product. I requested a nail art design that wasn't listed - this is where the technician should have said *no*. But they insisted they could do it. The end product of the nail art is something I think I could have done a better job at, with no artistic talent at all. I'm writing this 10 hours after my appointment, and I am in great discomfort because my cuticles are still burning and I wouldn't be surprised if they got infected! I have taken pictures of my nails and my now-damaged cuticles if the manager would like to see. I don't usually write bad reviews, but this was such a shame because the salon seemed lovely!

Very professional and excellent service. Will definitely be going back.
The girl who served me Andrea was absolutely horrific. Most unprofessional technician I've ever had in my life. So so rude from the second she walked in late for her shift. Had to wait 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment for her. The French manicure job she did was just horrible. White tips was zig zaggy, she didn't use toe separators or tissues when painting so the nails smugged each other, she didn't remove any of the hard skin, rushed the whole thing and didn't use any moisturiser/lotion after so feet were left dry. Basically left my feet worse than what they looked like before. When I politely said something at the end she huffed with a massive attitude, ignored me and walked away. The manager was the only saving grace as she couldn't apologise enough, was so lovely and sort of rectified the nails. I cannot fault her at all. Was offered discount but the damage had already been done. Never normally complain but felt I had to on this occasion as it was absolutely shocking.
