I booked a shellac removal for Saturday and unfortunately inadvertently booked the friday. I was rather annoyed when I realised and more importantly wanted to apologise. The lady at the other end of the phone was very understanding and offered me another appointment, which unfortunately I couldn't make, but wanted to highlight the good customer service and my intention to return.

So, I booked my appointment first thing in the morning for that evening. Great - Fine.
They already had an offer on to make a Ladies Cut and Finish so it was £30.00, then Wahanda had very generously given me an extra £10 off a treatment in January. £20.00, winner.
I actually booked the appointment thinking it was a different salon and after booking realised I'd been to this salon before for a Wax - and yes then the conditions were pretty grim - cleanliness wise.
But I went ahead as it was a no refund policy, and of course ''Binki from Made in Chelsea has used this Salon!!''. - which now I am questioning.
I arrived bang on 20:00 (having rushed to get there) for my appointment, to be told at 20:20, ''sorry, I'll be 5minutes''. Eventually at 20:30, I sat down and had my hair washed and cut and blow dried in the record time of 30minutes - clearly making up for time lost - which didn't exactly fill me with confidence. BUT I have to say, the girl who did cut my hair did an alright job and she was very nice.
Obviously in the 30 minutes prior to sitting down, I was watching what was going on in the Salon (because no-one had informed me who was cutting my hair or what was going on) so I was being observant. I think it was possibly the owners Dog that was running around in the salon - as she was playing with it at one point - URINATED, yes pee'd, on the banister going down to the treatment rooms!! In a state of shock of what I just witnessed, it then dawned on me that the cleanliness of the salon is pretty disgusting, everything I can confirmed the first time I came. The lady (possibly owner of the salon) and who I think owns the dog was very intimidating so I didn't dare say anything - so sorry ladies yes, the pee will still be there along with all the rest perhaps they didn't see the dog do! (this isn't a puppy I'm talking about either FYI).
Needless to say, I won't be returning. I know the price I paid for the treatment was only £20, but at the end of the day I'm a customer so should be treated well even if i'm not the biggest spender in the shop. I'm also a dog lover, but in a salon its not ideal for a dog to be running around. Especially one that clearly needed a walk to a wee!
The girl who cut my hair was very lovely, and I think a little flustered because it was so busy and she nothing to do with the dog incident but I still think she should have spent the full hour on my hair rather than 30 minutes. For that I'm going with a two star ''so-so'. '
