I went to Glo for a christmas special a while back and am just now getting to review. When I arrived they were very frantic and thought my appointment was later. They were fine though and let me pick my colours for my mani/pedi. However, as they led me downstairs I was greeted by a gaggle of young girls talking loudly. One of them was getting eyelash extensions and she must have brought her friends. They were loud and talked the entire time - it was less than relaxing. The owner came down to do my nails and used paper towels and cheap lotions to "massage" my hands. I was then plonked into a seat next to the girls to get my toes done - and it was so uncomfortable! I had to hold my own leg up while she tried to balance it on her knee. The whole experience was neither relaxing nor worth my time. The only thing worth noting was the waxing lady - I believe she was new. But she kept asking if I wanted water or coffee, made me a nice cup of coffee and I even spoke to her about a waxing consultation. They had her cleaning the whole time - I would love to go back and see her, but not at this establishment.
I had a really great experience at this hairdressers. Very clean and lovely staff. Zoe listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I asked - and as it was a new re-style for me she was checking the whole way through that I was happy with it. Lovely little salon, will definitely be going back.
My color is perfect! It is exactly what I was after! The hair stylists at Glo are very friendly and laid back. Glo is the best salon I have been to in London, and I will definitely go back!
