The staff were lovely, but the blow dry was terrible. Seemed like my hairdresser had possibly not done a blow dry before, and didn't listen to what I wanted/how my hair currently is... really wouldn't recommend. Had booked for a special occasion but really wish I'd done it myself!
This is the worst salon I've been to - ever! The staff are so rude and unpleasant! I booked an appointment for yesterday and when I arrived after re-scheduling my daughters pick up with another mum - I was told the person doing it wasn't there! That was it - no apology no nothing! I did not have a missed call on my mobile that's certain and I have double checked!! I re-arranged for 6.30pm today but when I got there after a dreadful journey stuck in traffic - they told me that they couldn't do a full-tint of colour - as a model(I asked another member of staff what time they were closing and she said early today -7.30pm!) I expressed my surprise as it is impossible to do any sort of tint in what was now 45 mins -as they spent ages looking for my card!!! It was pretty obvious they up just wanted to finish early and so fobbed me off! Despite being there the day before I had made it quite clear I needed to cover the roots - again no apology, no nothing - just the most unprofessional customer services I have ever come across. I have been as a model here before and the attitude to those who are brave enough to give their hair to complete beginners is truly shocking!!! Believe you me you can find many more lovely salons all over london who can give you an excellent model cut/colour, even if you do gave to pay a bit more - it's certainly worth it!!! I will never set foot on this saloon again!
Overall very disappointing with so many aspect of it.
The walk in deals that they have never applies. Actually I tried twice, the last time one of the staff was clearly busy doing her own hair, so she could not see me.
The receptionist does not understand people (she keeps asking me if I want to book for a hair cut - yes I have hair and this is why I want to come to the hairdresser). She is the worst by far. Last time she did not tell me that the guy I wanted to see did not work on particular days, so I missed a week. Then the guy at to leave early that day, so I had to wait another week. Then she booked me with the wrong guy, so I had to wait another week. And so on...
When I told her this was the third time she got it wrong, then she said that I need to book again, and then added "no problem". What do you mean by "no problem"? Don't you think that clearly there is a problem and to tell me to chill out is a bit excessive? No of course, who are we to expect a professional service?
When I actually got the hair cut (with the walk in deal), the guy did not finish the cut properly. I had to finish it off myself. It was good haircut, hence the two stars, but...
If you don't mind paying £35 for a gents haircut whilst being treated like dirt, then go ahead. You won't regret.
