I had my hair wash, cut and blow dry.I was really pleased with everything. Friendly staff a lovely hair cut and excellent blow dry! I was really pleased with the cut, exactly what I asked for. I would definitely recommend this salon.

This was my second visit and just as at the first Girts gave me great highlights and a fantastic cut and blow dry. The salon looks like a barbers and is very busy but you are not left with juniors washing your hair or whatever, the stylist you first have is yours for each step.
However I was embarrassed to learn that the Wahanda coupon is only valid for first visits, though the salon were good enough to honour my coupon I think it should be made much clearer on this point, maybe in bold highlights on the website to avoid this for future clients who may not notice the small print especially if reading on a phone.
Other than that I would recommend Groovy Hair Salon to anybody wanting a great cut and highlights. It's also located in a very interesting part of London and so you can make a bit of a day out of it.

Girts did a great job on my hair - highlights, cut and blow dry. I thought it was fantastic value, especially for the West End, and will definitely go back again. It's the sort of hairdressers I like - small and friendly.

Firstly the 'salon' is more like a walk in barbers shop. I booked in for a half head of highlights and was only given regrowth/T-section. There was lots of confusion with customers arriving for Wahanda bookings that werent confirmed, and had to be sent away. The shop was small and pokey and no ambience or conversation - it was all very awkward. Not a relaxing hairdressing experience at all. Not really happy with my colour - my regrowth stills looks dark. Blow dry was good. Staff were friendly enough.
