Nice little place with really friendly staff. I went for the scissors cut and it was thorough, tidy and without taking too much time - seemed to get what I was after with just a few questions. The finished cut was good, tidy and a good style for me - all at a really reasonable price. Would definitely go again.

No toilet, felt like I was sat in a barbers. I booked on the same day of my appointment knowing I was going out in the evening, however an hour after I had booked the time of my appointment was automatically changed to an hour later than scheduled and I was notified by email. This meant that I would either be late going to my friends party or I would not get a finished treatment. I then had to wait longer than the set time to be seen, the highlights were scruffily put in with foils all over the place, I barely had time for a trim and just had to get my hair blasted with the dryer so that I would be only 45mins late to the party. As an extra disappointment they had no milk for a cup of tea. I feel you can definitely find better value for money elsewhere.

I would thoroughly recommend Groovy Hair salon. The staff are really friendly and I felt that the stylist really listened to what I wanted and delivered to a very high standard.

When I arrived at the door, I was horrified, it looks like a men's barbers! Had I not had an urgent need to get my hair done for an event that evening, I may well have just walked on by and been put down as a "no-show". However, as I needed to get my hair done, I went in. And I am so pleased that I did :-). Gert did a fabulous haircut and blow-dry - I looked amazing. So amazing in fact that the taxi company thought I was a model and everyone complimented my hair at the evening event - happy days. Definitely recommend.

This is my first visit to the salon. I am pleased with the level of service provided. The staffs are very polite and professional. Good hair salon in central London.
