My initial impression of the salon was that it looked like a men’s barber shop however my first impressions of the professionalism over the phone and from the moment I walked in put me at ease. The manager and staff are down to earth, very friendly and attentive making sure I was comfortable and offered me refreshments. From what I could tell, the manager takes no nonsense and is fair in his reasoning.
I was extremely please to find out that they do not charge extra for highlights past shoulder length which the majority of salons do when purchasing a deal through Wahanda.
I can’t remember the stylists name however he gave me the best head massaged I’d ever had!!
They also give you discount on your next visit!!
I will definitely go back as my hair looks amazing and the I really enjoyed my experience!
A real gem, this hairdresser is such good value and the service is great. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My highlights turned out better than expected and haircut was just exactly what I wanted. I will definately be back.

Extremely bossy guy runs the joint, not afraid to argue with customers and a little difficult to understand (perhaps because he was short staffed and slightly flustered). Overall tho - the cut was good, and the colour as well, good value and once he calmed down a bit the experience became much more enjoyable.
The place is very small but cosy. The stuff were very professional and listened to what I would like to have done carefully plus gave some advice. I have very long brown hair and I had a trim and highlights done. My hair was cut exactly as I requested (other hairdressers I went to ALWAYS ended up cutting more than I asked for). The only reason I have not given 5 star is because I wanted to have light brown highlights and but not too light and I think the hairdresser was very cautious about it and so the highlights ended up not really looking very visible. But overall as already mentioned, the stuff were very professional and were doing great job! I would recommend the place

I had a great experience at Groovy. I love my haircut and highlights and the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and looked after. The ambience was relaxed and welcoming. I would definitely go back. The lady is very experience at cutting hair and she really knows what she is doing.
