I've had hairstroke brows and a facial with Ella at Harvey's and I genuinely couldn't be happier.
I'm a low maintenance kinda girl who is not used to going to salons at all but I really enjoyed seeing Ella, she is just lovely and so friendly and this made the experience even better.
I'd lost most of the hair on my brows and it was refusing to grow back. I felt so self consious about this and it really affected my self-image (I felt like I looked ‘scruffy’ and my face was unbalanced, etc.) I used to fill them in but this was difficult with so little to work with, it took ages and finding products that would look natural was nearly impossible, so I didn't do it all the time - which meant that much of the time, I just didn't like how I looked.
I finally bit the bullet and booked in for permanent makeup on my brows on the recommendation of a friend. I thought about it lots and did a lot of research first. I'll be honest - I was really nervous and had very high hopes at the same time. But it was such a great decision!
After talking to Ella I got the feeling she knew exactly what I wanted - and I was so reassured when she took loads of time to draw on the perfect shape for me - she really is meticulous.
At the end I was blown away by the shape and how well they suited my face. In a week once they had healed I couldn't believe that they looked so natural. More natural *and* better than painstakingly filling them in with expensive products. Even brutally honest friends who admitted they were skeptical before the treatment have raved about them.
Now I feel like I'm a least a little 'made-up' all the time. I look in the mirror and like what I see - it's even better than I expected, truly.
