The hotel was lovely however there was no guidance at all when we got there. The staff weren't very friendly and we had to ask direct questions to find out were to go, what was available etc. The bar service was very slow and unfriendly.
The spa treatement wasn't very good, the staff made us feel uncomfortable and we ended up swapping our treatement. The room wasn't very clean and had dead flies in it. Would not recommend for the price you pay.
Swedish Massage
Luckily on arrival we asked for a towel and robe for the spa as these were not given to us automatically, in the spa area there were no paper cups for the water and no one around to ask, there was also no hand towels in the ladies toilets, no warning on the door to say changing rooms were unisex, and no toiletries in the shower cubicles overall the changing room were dated.
When we got to our room there were no towels or bathmat when we asked we were given 3 Ikea basic bath towels & no bath mat
Classic Facials
Really nice spa experience. The outdoor jacuzzi is definitely the highlight of the spa. Unfortunately the sauna was broken during our visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a slight issue with the package we booked with saying robes would be provided but the spa said they weren't. They ended up very kindly not charging us for the robes. The afternoon tea was very good and the room comfortable and tidy. The Swedish massage was great, would 100% recommend if visiting.

Although at first glance the venue looks great, look beyond that and you find a tired hotel in need of some TLC. The entrance has a faded and peeling painted wooden facias, the room we were in had wallpaper which stopped about 12" down and was bare behind the wardrobe.
When booking the venue and treatment, I was verbally told that this would be on the day of arrival at 16:00. When checking in circa 15:30 to be ready for this, we were advised that the treatment was for 16:00 the following day.
