We had lots of issues with the spa, timings, afternoon tea etc. I did try reaching out to the spa whilst this was happening but recieved very poor responses and still have not had the issues rectified.
The morning was lovely. It was not busy, the outdoor spa pool in landscaped garden was so relaxing. All the staff were welcoming and professional. They accommodated a change in timings so that my husband and I could have our treatments at the same time. The lunch was delicious. A really relaxing and enjoyable morning.
Guildford Manor Hotel was a lovely place for us to visit for a spa break. The room was spacious and clean and the spa was easy to navigate and enjoyable. We all had a 50mins Swedish massage for our treatment although had differing experiences with different therapists. One of us had a good massage and the other two of us didn't find it as good as others we have experienced. The afternoon tea was fantastic and left us feeling full, as did dinner and breakfast. Overall a lovely stay.
spa day was lovely, venue is in a great location - sauna not working which was a shame - hope they get it fixed soon. all team very pleasant
Lunch - food was great and good selection. Staff seemed slightly distracted and food was delayed for others but not us. Restaurant needs to challenge their cleaners as lots of cobwebs that clearly had been there longer than a day
But overall felt great - so much potential
The hotel wasn't bad, quite pricey, however the room temperature kept going up to 30 degrees even when the room thermo was turned down. Rang reception and they said they did it but didn't work, put in a complaint to the hotel several times on the website with no reply. Had horrible sleep in these conditions which dampened the experience. Massages were great. Disappointed in the hotels service
