I have booked this spa break as a treat on my birthday. I wanted to spend the day relaxing and the spa. The massage was great and the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room just what I wanted. That being said, the afternoon tea was far from great. The dining room was empty and it looked unkept. I was greeted by a bored non smiley waiter. He quickly went through the menu and I checked with him if they had my ‘vegan and gluten free’ details noted. Some food had gluten and it tasted old.
Really unfriendly/rude staff, given I'd paid extra for an earlier check in we still had to wait over half an hour. There was no where to sit while we waited for our room, the only place to get a drink was the restaurant which wasn't open at the time we arrived. The massage wasn't particularly good & it was obvious that the earlier filled in forms were not read! There was a hen party that afternoon/evening and there was a lot of wine bottles and glasses around the pool area.
Hi massage was good! Spa changing rooms could be cleaner and need updating!
Facials were great, really enjoyed. Staff for the hotel could have been better
Terrible, impossible to get through on the phone to any department let alone booking a spa day/lunch. The treatment that was booked was for Indian head massage, etc, but when I got to the therapist she said she had me in for a Swedish massage! I love a head massage that is why I booked it. The place is a bit like faulty towers, awful bling chairs and decor in the dining room, makes it look so cheap, but fabulous outdoor areas and pool. Such a shame could be lovely if it was run properly/decor
