We had a nice enough day but probably wouldn’t go back. A few disappointing things like unhelpful reception staff and no one on the spa reception all day so we had no one to ask about treatments etc. The changing rooms are mixed, very basic and not very clean. The steam room smelt fishy so we didn’t go in. The sauna, pool and afternoon tea were all great.

I had the most awlful experience here at Guildford manor!
When I booked the packed for a 2 night stay I was entitled to afternoon treatments formyself and my mum.
Yet we wasn't down for afternoon tea, the staff was adamant we wasn't on the list that it had already been paid for in our package! I had to show proof that it was indeed under the package that I had booked!
Very disappointed with the outcome.
No treatments was done for me or my mother, and a poor service by staff. Won't be recommending

Really nice Hotel and Venue. Food was excellent (Afternoon Tea and Breakfast). The Spa changing rooms were not really up to scratch, floor awash and 3 changing cubicles all busy! Some aspects of room maintenance also required attention (safe combination lock was missing 1x battery and was inoperable, bedside light u/s). We did not report these 'niggles' to reception as we only stayed 1 night. Overall our stay was very pleasant.

Overall the experience was ok, im not sure if ai would go back. I booked through spa breaks for my partners christmas present, I found a good deal and upgraded our room to an executive one. I noticed on the email a week before we was coming that they had not input our upgrade, we also had a set afternoon tea which was booked for 3pm when we could not check in any earlier than 3pm, our treatmemts were booked at 4pm, which I felt was rushed. When we got there they gave us the wrong to a standard double
