I had to ask the Hotel Manager for the therapist to wear a mask - No masks worn in the main area from anyone or in the Hotel :
I booked a 55 treatment and it was only 45
Maybe 55 is from saying hello to saying goodbye !
ABSOLUTELY NO COVID PRECAUTIONS. No masks, no distancing, no sanitiser and no extra cleanliness.
I was sold a spa day and was refused it and had to leave by 130.
We were not shown round at all and had to wait and nag for robes and towels. No warning of unisex changing rooms (I had no problem with it but think it should be mentioned to everyone).
I am very much a glass half full person but this was shockingly bad. Impossible to get refund. I was ripped off.
We enjoyed our stay and the food in particular was exceptional. However there was hair on the wall in our en-suit when we arrived and the toiletries like shampoo hadn't been replenished in the room when we arrived. When hand washing has never been more important, we were pretty shocked that there was no hand soap in the room. On this topic, while there were signs telling guests to wear a mask, we were among the few who actually wore them, and this wasn't enforced by staff. Could be much better!
