Disappointed with the massage, feet and hands were missed, a glass of water wasn’t offered after massage had to get dressed and go to spa. No after care was offered.
Not enough beds for the number of guests and no staff available. I waited ten mins at the main reception in order to buy a bottle of Prosecco - no one was available in the spa. Eventually had to go to the bar and ask for help. There was water all over the floor in the changing rooms and the lock on the toilet door was broken. It definitely wasn’t a wow factor day, the facilities were very tired. The afternoon tea was very good and that was the stand out.
The venue was easy to find and the management most welcoming. The treatments were great and the facilities and food very good. We made full use of the pool and had a most enjoyable time and we will certainly go there again.
The only slight negative was that I am perhaps a little "portly" and my robe was rather small (LOL)! I'm sure the management would have found me another better fitting robe had I asked them but it wasn't a problem at all.
The massage was good but the therapist had a cold and was sniffling and coughing. My friend and I came for a wellness, healthy experience and being in a small room with someone that had a terrible head cold felt horrible. I found myself holding my breath!! She is a good masseuse but I couldn’t enjoy the experience at all. Neither could me friend.
The spa had no one at the reception so we couldn’t get cups for water (there weren’t any), or towels. We had to make do with one tiny wet towel.
