Swedish massage cancelled having already arrived as therapist was ill. Place was generally dated and if honest a bit grotty. (Showers not working). Staff only twigged there for spa day an hour in (before no towels/ribe etc). On the plus side food was good, as was settling and some partial refund was offered. In general whole place needs sharpening up before I'd even consider retuning to what on the face of it could be good

Beautiful surroundings, idyllic & serene atmosphere made it a very relaxing place to be. The massage was bliss, with a heated wide treatment table & soft multi-tone lighting to further amplify the relaxing mood, I would have drifted off to sleep had I not engaged in conversation - it was my first time here (a business over-night stay in the hotel) but I will definitely return for pleasure next time. Thanks. PS the outside hydrotherapy pool was warm & so very relaxing!

Hotel having few problems as under new management. I’m sure when problems are sorted all will be ok and then would recommend this hotel

Can’t fault Clio she was amazing and my facial and massage were both very good .
The afternoon tea I would criticise, no actual cream which was a shock some lemon stuff and only 1 small pot of jam between me and my husband. I would definitely say if they used actual clotted cream I would have not said anything but the lemon stuff is disappointing. Another couple there at the same time complained and left.
