It was a real shame that the timings were off. My wife was collected for her facial at 11:00. By 11:10 I was still waiting in the spa reception, I eventually asked a cleaner where to go and was directed up to the treatment rooms as the previous client finished at 11:10. By the time we started at was 11:15 and I was back in the spa reception by 11:55. That is just not a 50minute massage which is what I paid for.

I was not informed that I would be having a male therapist.It was rough and not relaxing at all the light was in in the room . All in all not the treatment I expected .

This is an event venue not a 4* hotel. The bedrooms were dirty and carpets stained. Some items were broken or missing. The staff seemed in short supply with often no receptionist cover. There is no lift or properly accessible bedrooms (some on the ground floor but there are no rails for showering so falling is a risk and one of our party couldn’t wash her hair for the duration). The reception staff often did not answer the telephone unless dialled from outside, couldn’t/wouldn’t answer queries
