Gorgeous venue. Best facial I’ve ever had. Rather hot claustrophobic indoor pool but great outdoor hydrotherapy pool. Quiet, friendly atmosphere. Helpful polite professional staff. No chef so had to have afternoon tea instead of lunch which was big disappointment. Lovely grounds. Would like to have spent more time there. Definitely recommend but only if the chef is there as really didn’t want scones and cakes for lunch!
We didn't get what we paid for , I booked bed breakfast and evening meal and a treatment this came too £288 , the gentleman I spoke to said I can give you a special offer ," for£300 you can have afternoon tea , so I paid £300 . When it came to the evening meal I had to pay again , they wouldn't listen just insisting I pay with the promise someone will sort it out but never did .shame no going back for me .
Lovely location and the main parts of the venue are nicely furnished and decorated. The indoor Spa facilities are in need of some attention - steam room not working and pool side shower out of order. Toilets and locker area/changing rooms could have benefited from a good clean and some regular cleaning attention during the day. Had to ask for slippers. Outdoor spa jacuzzi is fabulous even on a damp March day.
