We spent a very relaxing short break at the Guildford Manor Hotel and spa and would fully recommend the Executive spa package. We enjoyed lovely facials thank you to Sonia and Margaret our therapists who were both very friendly and professional, in fact all the staff at the hotel were lovely. We had a great mum and daughter get away Thankyou!
Firstly the gentleman on reception was super helpful, we had a package booked elsewhere but due to Covid it was cancelled last minute- and your receptionist was able to set up a package for us at very short notice
We both received a massage from Fred, who was nothing but professional and lovely, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our massages
Unfortunately, I was not fully satisfied with a few things within the spa;
- it was highly noisy due to building works
- the door was left open throughout
I was forced to pick a star before moving on but I did not get to have my facial/treatment because I asked for a refund. The customer service by the spa manager was so bad - felt so unwelcome, the place was dirty and smelt musky, hairs all over the swimming pool floor and there was no where us to actually lounge. Feedback was given to the duty manager. I was offered a refund but in fact that has not been sanctioned and now I'm having to fight for my money back because they're not honouring it.
MY WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE I HAVE EMAILED THE HOTEL AND COMPLAINED TO RECEPTIONIST ON LEAVING . I AM STILL WAITING FOR ANY KIND OF RESPONSE!! NOW A WEEK LATER AND HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING,WHEN THE RECEPTIONIST SAID ROSS WILL CALL YOU THE NEXT DAY. !!!!
