We paid for an hour long deep tissue massage, however the treatment was an unusual experience. The massage therapist “rubbed” (for want of a better word) me for essentially 50minutes. He placed a modest towel over my intimate areas and proceeded to “rub” my stomach area. He did this all with his eyes closed. A very different kind of deep tissue massage and one that i would not feel comfortable to have again.

The venue was good but had a wait for a table to be cleaned and then it was given to another couple felt we were ignored by the waitress. The food was nice but very basic.
Couples Massage
When I arrived there was a long queue at reception. Once I cleared the queue, I was told my therapist had called in sick and that I should have been called earlier in the day, but wasn’t. I therefore couldn’t enjoy the treatment and experience I had booked. I was then told by the receptionist that someone would be in touch to arrange a refund. No one has since called or emailed me. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place.

The hotel was very under staffed. We did not get to have our couples massage as only 1 therapist was working. We had to cut or session in half and both have half the time each. One of us watching and other getting treatment. Not great when it is meant to be your honeymoon. Everyone was friendly but it was not the atmosphere we were expecting.
Couples Massage
My facial was cancelled in the morning but I was given a refund. Very disappointed it was cancelled. We booked a superior room, lovely view but the double bed was small, as my husband who is 6ft 2in struggled fitting in the bed.
