Amazing value. The food is excellent and drinks are well priced. The spa/pool is a little dated but clean and functional. Our room was probably the worst in the hotel, with a view of a wall covered in fake Ivy. Such a shame when the grounds were beautiful. The shower leaked and didn’t drain. The towel rail worked when it wanted. However, overall I can’t complain for the price we paid and we had a lovely weekend.
Not much of a spa experience at all. Man sat at reception who was not very helpful. Spa reception outdated shabby and in need of clean. No water in drink machine. Changing rooms in need of updating and not clean. Debris over the floor. Steam room smelt of urine. Towels and robes provided were in need of replacing. Therapist however was lovely and the facial and Swedish massage were amazing which was best bit. We would never visit again.
Fabulous, experience, just a shame we can’t use the facilities all day !
Had booked an afternoon spa with full body massage and afternoon tea with a friend. The spa is basic but clean and well maintained. It was not very busy due to a weekday, but the staff was attentive and friendly. Special mention to Peenida for an outstanding massage, she is very skilled and polite. The afternoon tea at the restaurant was tasty and beautifully presented. Overall a relaxing and fun pamper afternoon!
The hotel is very pretty and everyone is lovely. The room was clean and had everything necessary. The spa was nice and relaxing especially the outside jacuzzi, however overall fell like it could have been cleaner and hotter
