My partner and I stayed at the SPA hotel on the 11th March; check out the next day. I have to be honest and inform you that we've had a really negative experience during our stay. We've been to a good number of SPA and I would not include this facility into the same category. The condition and maintenance of the place was very low and dusty. I would not recommend it to anyone and will leave a review on trip advisor and google. I do not like to write bad reviews but this was a must.
The decor inside was not what I expected, it had an asian feel, everywhere was super clean and well kept. All the staff were very friendly. There was a wedding group gathering when we arrived but the receptionist still showed us around the spa facilities. The outdoor pool was my favourite, so warm with lovely views across a field, perfect for relaxing. Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all very clean.
Afternoon tea was gorgeous, good selection and lovely tea set.
Would recommend, value for money
I took my mum here as a birthday gift. We had a lovely time. The massage was lovely. Everyone was friendly only thing we wasn’t happy with was that the bar closed at 10.30pm
We were not told this so couldn’t get more drinks in before they shut.
Then they turned the lights off in the restaurant when we was still sitting in there drinking.
My fiance and I had booked a couple's massage, which you would assume to be in the same room, but this was not the case. I had an Indian Head and Back Massage. My massage therapist was quite the talker, which was not overly relaxing and asked inappropriate questions. She also had slightly long nails, so I kept getting scratched during the massage. My partner had a Deep Tissue Massage and said that his therapist used so much oil that he could not feel anything, let alone Deep Tissue. Not worth it
