Out-of-season meant that kitchen/restaurant service was a bit erratic but the food was excellent. Reception staff who are asked for Spa towels need to tell clients of the need for a pound coin for a locker. Spa reception staff are sometimes there, sometimes not...a staffing problem ? In our room, a wardrobe drawer contained an ( empty ) wine bottle left by a previous guest. Wall lights either side of the bed point at the ceiling, not downward as reading lights. Beautiful field view from room 7.
Hot Stone Massage
Dirty glasses in restaurant, slow service despite not being busy. Hair in the shower. Xmas party at hotel meant very laud music until 12am, with another hour of ppl shouting and singing until 1am. No mention of it at booking. Stayed for a relaxing spa weekend, was not relaxed! Staff generally indifferent- both reception and restaurant. No water in the room, or glasses! In a 4* hotel. Disappointed, sorry to say, but honest experience.
Swedish Massage
Treatments and spa was nice. Rooms were comfortable but the walls were very thin and we had rooms both sides where people were drunk and shouting and throwing things which kept us awake and made us feel pretty anxious. There were a couple of private functions on and the bar closed early so we tried to get a drink at the other bar where we were sitting but bar staff were very rude. Restaurant was lovely and food was amazing. We also had afternoon tea which was nice.

The Swedish Massage was excellent. It did not last the full allocated time for some reason but I can’t complain.

Adreias was absolutely incredible. So polite, gentle and respectful. I'd definitely recommend the hot stone massage especiallywith Adreias.
