This was a good enough pedicure, in terms of results, but not worth the money and the process was an awkward faff- Firstly, the therapist explicitly told me she didn’t really know what she was doing, as this salon focuses on facials. This was made apparent by the lack of chair- I had to lie down on a massage table with my knees up to get my feet into a basin of water. At one point I had to engage my core to keep my feet held up so the therapist could remove hard skin from my heels- hardly relaxing and I don’t know what a pregnant or older person would have done. To boot, the pedicure took more than an hour- ridiculous for something that involved no special treatment or massage, and only perfunctory hard skin removal I easily could have done at home- I think the time spent was literally the therapist figuring out what to do as she went, and often focusing more on chatting about her personal life and political beliefs (ugh- why?) than what she was doing. I wasn’t in a huge hurry, but considering how awkward the process was, I wasn’t happy for the treatment to take so long.
