Been going to Gusto for the past few years, went to their new branch just off Covent Garden as it's actually closer to my office.
Service is a amazing as always, the stylist was truly a maestro with his scissors, very experience with lots of flair. Also did some foils, the colour was spot on, only thing was the lighting in the second branch is a bit yellow warm which distorts the visual a tiny bit. Ultimately however truly great!
Overall still the best salon I've yet visited in London.
Describe your visit to Gusto Hairdressing Covent Garden. This was the first time at this branch and second time visiting Gusto. The gent who cut my hair was very good and I took his advice about what I needed done. The only niggle is I cant bear it when people smoke and don't wash their hands especially when washing and doing your hair. Makes me feel sick and a bit dirty!
The venue was clearly very new, I can still smell the paint and the deflated balloons left around. The venue was nice, although it's not quite ready to open. I had a cut wash and blow-dry, which should be a relaxing experience but it all felt very rushed, they might have over booked or been understaffed. There is also no waiting area? They did offer me a drink, but no magazine, used a disposable towel to dry my hair, the hair dryer had no holder, they just left it on the floor. All not quite there, but my hair dresser was nice. The cut was fine, as it was a trim and tidy anyway. I would go back as it's good value, but will wait for it to be on track with all the basics first.
