I decided to try Hackney Style Council because of the great reviews and I’m glad I did! I wasn’t sure what I wanted but Nick discussed options with me, taking into account that I have thick curly hair. He then talked me through what he was doing as he cut to make sure I was happy with it. The place also had a really nice, relaxed atmosphere so I felt at ease. Really pleased with my haircut so will definitely be going back!

Nick is great. Nick really listened to what I wanted in terms of cut, and as I have quite difficult hair to style (curly and fine so tendency to frizz) he was genuinely interested in how I would normally style it and incorporated it when drying. This is the first time in YEARS that I haven't had to go straight home and restyle my hair, which for me is a big deal, and the cut is fantastic too.
