I am a bit of a gym addict so I booked a full body massage to help relieve muscle pain. The therapist Toni was absolutely brilliant. She got the degree of pressure just right and targeted the areas of my back that have previously caused pain. The treatment room was very comfortable, and as I left, I took a list of other treatments with me. I fully recommend Hagley beauty academy and will be back again in the near future.
Massage was really lovely, Toni was very thorough and I felt relaxed. There were a few problems accessing the building, it would be handy if it was made clear on the pre massage email/instructions that I needed to access via the side entrance.
Due to traffic I was slightly late which resulted in a shorter massage, this was fine, however, at the end (after the massage had finished) it felt slightly rushed with getting out the building, almost like there were other places to be in a hurry...
Good massage, but environment and professionalism let it down.
Pros: good deep tissue massage that worked out a good few knots.
Cons: therapist didn't introduce herself
-the salon is hard to access on weekends as you have to use a back door to the building, but you aren't told this in advance
-no time between clients: as soon as the massage was over, the bright ceiling lights were turned back on and I felt rushed in changing and leaving because the next people were coming in - not relaxing!
Therapist did not ask anything about my injuries/pressure, massage was fair, however if the Therapist held a conversation about my health/notes written down during the consultation she would have been alittle more aware.
Was unable to relax fully.
Glass chippings found on windowsill where I was asked to fold my clothes and also found on the floor.
I would not recommend this practice to anyone.
