Called me the morning of the day I booked to push my booking back by half an hour which wasn’t very convenient, then left me waiting without explanation or apology for twenty minutes after this time. I informed both the girl at the desk AND the technician that I had booked a file and polish- had paid for that via the app and picked a normal nail polish to use (from a VERY limited selection). The technician then asked me if I wanted shellac instead- I said I didn’t know anything about nail polish and asked ‘what’s the difference?’. She said ‘it just lasts longer’. Nothing more regarding price etc, time etc. At the end I said ‘I paid through the app’. She said ‘oh you paid £10 but you owe another £45 for shellac’. This is absolutely disgusting scamming and wasn’t mentioned once even when I explicitly asked the difference.
I booked at 1pm and arrived on time, but the client before me was late and I didn’t end up getting my treatment until after 2pm. I know it happens and they were very apologetic but they had my contact details and they could have phoned me to tell me to come later. The manicure was ok. For the ‘deluxe’ version however I would have expected a massage, at the very least some moisturiser. the pedicure was very thorough. Again for the deluxe version I expected a longer massage and to be honest, the shop bought foot spa just doesn’t cut it. The actual polish was very good. All in all it was ok but I won’t be going again.
