I can't give this a one star review, as to be absolutely fair, the staff downstairs were lovely and it was dirt cheap - so I'm sure for hair and other treatments they're fine. However, this wasn't. Having self-tanned myself before, I thought that getting it done by someone else would be a nice treat and eliminate the chance of it going awry. I was wrong. I asked for the lightest shade on offer, and ended up very dark, with clear lines across my knees where the tan hadn't been applied. As someone who is fairly confident self-tanning, I was made to feel very uncomfortable by the tanner, and was fairly sure before the gun was even on that I hadn't been listened to. I've removed the tan and reapplied my own. I'm sure if you're already tanned and just want a top up, it wouldn't look so awful, but the gaps, splotches and spotty stains all over my otherwise fairly porcelain skin looked disastrous. If I didn't already know that my skin is capable of being fake tanned and looking natural, I would assume it was my fault - but I know from experience it wasn't. Lemon juice and salt scrubs have been my friends today!
