I was told to have strip wax for a brazillian wax instead of hot wax - I asked which was better/less painful/more suitable for bikini line (I've since discovered it's definitely hot wax, not strip!!!) and the whole process was incredibly painful - I still have red welts on my bikini line and the pain only started to subside after 36 hours. I've had countless waxes before and nothing like this - it was really awful and very, very sore. Afterwards I was told I had to pay cash and couldn't use my card, but the nearest cash point was broken which meant walking all the way to the station (in agony!) and back just to pay - surely if you need to pay in case that should be made clear beforehand? The salon looked lovely but unfortunately this treatment was not good.

Hair by Fairy is my local and I've had some great treatments. Bookings might have been a little mixed up when I came for an eyebrow threading (my usual beautician wasn't available) so I had to sit in the hair area amongst a rather salon. But the beautician gave me a very speedy threading (bordering on hurried as she was halfway through a haircut when she had to attend to me), left only a few stray hairs and I got a magazine to take home on the way out. Probably wouldn't recommend for eyebrow threading but I will be back soon!
