Billy launched his hairdressing career in 1991, graduating from a top academy in 1996. After opening his first salon in 2001, he took London by storm in 2007, quickly earning a reputation for his creativity and exceptional client care. Famed for his unique, head-turning cuts and innovative style, Billy has attracted a devoted following of A-list celebrities, global VIPs, and loyal clients who trust his genius touch.

At 14, my journey into hairstyling began when my mother sent me to work at a local salon - sparking a passion that would shape my future. After studying in Ankara, I built two thriving salons in Turkey, earning a loyal clientele that included respected government figures. In 2003, I brought my craft to London, opening my first UK salon in Winchmore Hill by 2005. A successful move from Cockfosters to Southgate established my reputation as a leading stylist in North London. Now, with over 35 years of experience, Hair By Metin is proud to call East Finchley home. In our beautifully renovated salon, my expert team and I are here to make your hair dreams a reality.
