I went in for a simple wash and cut. I asked for a trim of no more than 1.5cm, despite knowing I needed more. The hairdresser couldn't really speak much English unfortunately. She took off at least 4cm, which I have been coming to terms with ever since. Ultimately my hair is better for it, but I've lost a lot of length and I would've liked her to listen to me.
