Once again Gemma has provided me with a service second-to-none. I decided last week to go funky and have my hair dyed purple with a Gemma-mix contrast wedge. I was exceedingly pleased with the results and received lots of compliments. Sadly, when I washed my hair a couple of days later, quite a lot of the colour had faded so I contacted the salon and Ashleigh immediately booked me in to see Gemma again. When I went back, Gemma was amazing - she spent another 3 and a half hours redoing my hair. The reason the colour had not taken properly was because I have very porous hair and she meticulously applied the dye to the faded areas and then redid the whole head of hair. When she had finished she gave me a bottle of the dye to use if required and for all this she charged me the amazing sum of £00.00. I was stunned - almost 5 hours on the original appointment and another 3 and a half on the revisit - and all for the amazing price of £65. I haven't washed my hair again since this visit but, whatever the outcome, I cannot praise Gemma enough for everything she does for my hair. For the first time in my life I am enjoying visits to the hairdressers and feel that Gemma is a creative genius. Thank you, Gemma and team, for all your attention to detail.
When I arrived at the salon I had to wait 20 minutes until I was sat down in the chair ready to be seen. It was then another additional 10 minutes until my stylist came over to speak with me.
I booked my 45 minute appointment for 2pm and got out of the salon at 4pm. Fairly frustrating as it took up enough time for a cut and a colour. The lady cutting was lovely but kept taking breaks to tell stories etc which is fine, but I was so aware of the time.
