What a lovely find this salon has been. I'm not a person who relishes going to the hairdressers, rather it is a necessity! However, I was very impressed with the whole experience : the salon is smart and very light, there aren't walls of mirrors which allow you to be inspected by everyone else in the salon & the atmosphere was friendly and happy. Gemma herself was a real delight. As a new client, she spent time talking to me to ascertain what I wanted doing with my hair and putting forward suggestions as to what I might like. I can truly say I've never had anyone put so much thought into the way my hair might suit me best. It was the best hairdressing experience I've ever had and I was so pleased with the results that I have already booked another appointment - for a 'hair up' ready for a party on Saturday night.

I have very thick, wiry hair, which is great but it's very difficult to cut properly (basically it grows in all directions). So I used to get it cut every couple of weeks to keep it looking neat. Then I went to Gemma's and the cut she did was amazing. Infact, my hair still looked great after a month. She really knows how to do a fantastic job and she's a really lovely person as well. If you're looking for a great hairdresser, trust me - you've found her.

I love my haircut. Gemma knew exactly what colour and style would suit me and provided great service throughout. I’m not normally a fan of hairdressers, but Gemma completely put me at ease - helped by the very homey feel to her salon & a great cup of tea. Highly recommended.
Looks really nice and fresh, staff friendly and not pretentious like some salons - lovely proper coffee too - just what a good salon should be
