Where to start...
Last Saturday I had my first appointment at the salon for acrylic nails. Within two days of having them, two of my nails had lifted and come straight off. I appreciate the price (£25) seemed quite reasonable, however this turned out not to be the case at all considering that I have had packets of stick on nails that lasted longer costing a mere fraction of the price! I take pride in my nails and very good care of them and now I find that I will need a brand new set yet again. My thumb nail has broken straight in half and considering I have a job in an office this shouldn't be an issue at all as they are under absolutely no pressure. Not only this but I found the level of professionalism to be lacking. The rest of the salon members where rude and looked at you as if you were dirt because you are not a face that they recognise and the nail technician spent her time puffing away on an e-cigarette. The station was dusty and the chair uncomfortable. All of this I would overlook for a decent set of acrylics, but my that is wishful thinking. If you are wanting all that one would normally expect e.g. clean work surfaces, decent acrylic and service with a smile, you should look elsewhere or prepare to be disappointed.
I will not be using any of the services on offer here again as I have too much common sense to waste any more money or time.
Appalling.
