Ladies' Haircuts
I went to the Beauty Works hair bar for a trim as I'm growing out my hair and didn't need anything special. I got exactly what I wanted. The salon is fine; it's not a particularly luxury experience (and the music was pretty awful) but it was clean, the staff were friendly and I was in and out in 30 mins. I got a last minute deal so the haircut was very good value.

It was a late appointment which was convenient for me, and the place was nice and relaxed and clean. The hair wash and cut was a nice experience and the staff was nice, although the shape after washing at home Isnt exactly what I was going for, it's quite a blunt finish. I wasn't pleased that there's a £5 surcharge for long hair which I wasn't aware of before going (mine is straight and very easy to cut, Im not sure how the length affects a simple straight trim whether it's shoulder length or longer) but the lady was very kind - I didn't have any money with me as hadn't prepaid and wasnt expecting to need any cash.
