I Hate to give bad reviews. In fact, I always try to find a compromise with the manager or the owner before proceeding with the review but, because I haven't receive any response from her, I am sorry I have to go on with this.
I am allergic to sulfates and I made a phone call before booking just because I wanted to make sure they had sulfate free shampoo and someone told me they had; so I booked a wash and cut.
The following day I went there and the lady (who is the owner), told me that no, they didn't have sulfate free shampoo and they shouldn't have told me that. She didn't seem very sorry and honestly I was very disappointed.
So imagine what I had to do?
I had to go home to take my shampoo! But thank God I wasn't living far!
Also my shampoo was an organic brand (Neil's yard), very expensive and the technician had to use a lot of that because sulfate free shampoos are without a lot of soap (sulfates are the one that make the soap effect basically), so basically half of a bottle was gone at the end and that shampoo cost 16£! So I have paid for a service which included shampoo and I had to bring my own.. Didn't make any sense.
I am giving 3 stars just because I was happy with the Italian guy who cut my hair and he was very friendly; the owner wasn't friendly at all, she was rude, she didn't apologize enough and overall she didn't offer me a discount or something to make up for the mistake.
Very bad. When I wrote an email telling her I was disappointed she didn't even bother to reply. Also these days every serious place is carrying purology which is sulfate free. So definitely not recommending this place! Will never get back as she doesn't know how to treat clients.
Great standard of colour, cut and blow dry but the environment is slightly unwelcoming. The owner seemed friendly but the other staff members were cold - the receptionist looked at me like she couldn't understand why I was there when I arrived for my appointment. Slightly odd...
